Our Mission
Serving Hamlet Since 1991
Outreach For Jesus held its organizational meeting on Sunday, February 3rd, 1991, at the Hamlet Senior Citizen Building. Ten people gathered, and the church grew quickly — first to the Hamlet Lion's Club, then to a converted nightclub, and finally to our current sanctuary completed in 1998.
We are an interdenominational church built on the belief of salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ. We have seen many saved, healed, and filled with the Spirit over the years — and we continue to believe God for even greater things.

Bishop Marvin & First Lady Wanda Taylor
Co-Founders & Senior Pastors
Bishop Marvin Taylor Jr. and First Lady Wanda Taylor co-founded Outreach For Jesus on February 3rd, 1991, and have faithfully led the church together for over 35 years. From the very first gathering of ten people at the Hamlet Senior Citizen Building, they have served side by side — Bishop Taylor with visionary leadership and powerful teaching, and First Lady Wanda with grace, love, and unwavering dedication. Together, they have seen souls saved, lives healed, and a community transformed by the power of the Gospel.
